Cronton Pasture, Knowsley – Access Improvements

Perimeter path installation around the Pasture, Cronton village’s park. The path will improve access for all, walking, exercise, group activities and events making full use of the site. A wood sculpture trail would be installed and playing field drainage improved for recreation, sports and events.

The legacy of the Covid-19 pandemic has placed a great importance on the Pasture as a key resource for Cronton’s rural community. However, resident feedback (and public consultation), identified that the Pasture was inaccessible to many due to lack of surfaced paths and poor drainage of the site.
