Cross Or Arthur Park Ballcourt & Skate Ramp

At present there are a few swings and seesaw in the park mostly used by younger children. By providing the proposed new facilities that this would encourage older children to develop new skills and team work.

The ballcourt and skate ramps will contribute towards physical activity and wellbeing of young people. These will provide opportunities to develop sports skills and learning through challenging team games and develop greater community cohesion and social interaction between all members of the community.

By giving children facilities to expend their energy using these facilities it will reduce the likelihood of anti social behaviour.
