Crown Meadow Restoration

The project will boost the biodiversity on the site through improving the different habituates which are found in the meadow. Work will be undertaken to reduce dominant species such as brambles and remove invasive species which are starting to colonise. Tree work will be undertaken to open up views of the brook and allow more light into the pond/bog area. New signs and benches will be installed to provide users a place to sit and learn more about the meadow. Slough BC will help us to establish a volunteer group who will work alongside this project.
