Crownway Main Outer and Inner Entrance Doors, Crownway Community Centre, Earlestown, St Helens

This is project to refurbish the main entrance doors at Crownway Community Centre into accessible swing doors that will enhance its overall accessibility. Crownway Community Centre was built in 2005 and access into the building has two set of doors. The first set need pushing down on a handle to gain entrance and exit and the second set are push open/close. This can prove difficult for people with prams, wheelchairs and mobility scooters who can’t always manage the doors without help.
