Cumbria’s Wildlife Garden

Our garden design is now well-established and suitable for being opened to the public, used for training events and school visits etc. We are now keen to make some lasting physical improvements that will ensure more members of the public can enjoy our site for leisure and recreation on a self-led basis. This project is designed to create signs and seasonally relevant public interpretation panels that can be used around the large garden for each of its habitats – pond, woodland, wildflower and formal garden so people can visit it whenever they wish, and learn about wildlife-friendly gardening. Further work will include the wildflower area of the garden being expanded through volunteer involvement.
