Cyber cafe toilet refurbishment

The project will refurbish the toilet facilities adjacent to the new cyber cafe area within the community centre. The toilet facilities are very dated with all external walls needing knocking back to the brick and re-plastering. There is a lot of damage to the floor covering, cubicles and toilets. The project will remove all existing fixtures and fittings and replace them with new toilet cubicles, toilets, sinks and cabinets. In addition, the male toilets will be fitted with new urinals. The old floor covering will be removed and new, durable, non stick floor tiles fitted along with new wall tiles. The remaining walls will be redecorated and a new suspended ceiling and lighting units fitted.
The project is a one-off discrete capital project and will help it easier to attract organisations to work in partnership with the community centre on educational projects running in the cyber cafe. The new facilities will also benefit a range of different user groups.
