Dalehead Project 2004-05

St James is the only building in the immediate area open to the public. It is built from, and houses parts of the old Dalehead Church - the only building linking the area with the old village of Stocks-in-Bowland. Our project seeks to give public access to pictorial records of the village, since flooded by the reservoir. The restoration and re-ordering will enable the building to be more widely used, e.g. for the study of local history and the local natural environment, the graveyard being a Biological Heritage Site
