Daubeney Fields, Hackney – Playable Landscape Improvements (006117)

The project aims to transform the park’s old play area from a hard underused space with low play value into a fully playable landscape with an outdoor classroom.

The design for the playable landscape has been produced in consultation with the local community in order to meet their needs, provides excellent play value and will help to tackle childhood obesity in an innovative way by making physical activity part of daily life.

The project includes traditional play equipment but also utilises the site’s topography and landscape to provide opportunities for more active, imaginative and accessible play along with a secure space for outdoor education.
