Davagh Dark Skies

To create an interactive visitor centre/observatory in an area of low light pollution which will attract visitors to observe astronomical features in the night skies. Over and above this the area around the centre has some of the densest concentrations of archaeological sites in Northern Ireland. The centre will contain interactive interpretive exhibits to enable the visitor to better understand the heritage of the region and the role of archaeoastronomy in the cultures of the ancient people who lived in the area.
