Davy’s Island on the Lough Erne Pilgrimage Trail

Aims
1. To do essential conservation stabilisation and remedial repairs to the structure of the historic site and monument.
2. To enhance physical and/or intellectual access to the site associated with the ecclesiastic heritage of the Lough Erne landscape area.
3. To increase awareness and understanding of the history and heritage of the great island monasteries
4. To create visitor experiences and journeys along the pilgrimage trail.
5. To increase community engagement and volunteering activities associated with the sites on the pilgrimage trail
6. To promote awareness and use of the pilgrimage trail as recreational and cultural tourism destinations.
