Dawley Town Hall, Telford – Hall and Garden Improvements (40285/D)

The project aim is to improve the acoustics within the hall and we plan to install acoustic boards on the ceiling and boards with artwork on the walls. We will also install lighting and sound systems to enable and enhance cultural regeneration. An infrared hearing induction loop system will also be installed. Outside the hall, new gates will enhance the appearance of the community venue and at the rear of the hall; a new fence will provide an enclosed space for the community garden. The garden will house trugs, planters and a greenhouse for growing plants, fruit and vegetables. The metal storage shed will house tools required to work in the garden. The Trust grant will contribute towards the gate/fencing and internal improvements of the hall.
