Dead Wood, Living Nature at Gutteridge Wood

Gutteridge Wood is a nature reserve in west London dominated by hazel and oak ancient woodland with a history of coppicing. This project will preserve deadwood at the reserve, carry out pollarding and coppicing, install a boardwalk, install interpretation, and clear away the scrub which is encroaching into the woodland glades at the site.
