Deadwater Valley – Footpath Restoration

The project, for which funding is sought, is the reinstatement of a riverbank footpath where the bank made up of spoil from the now defunct local gas works has been eroded by the river. Advice has been provided by the Environment Agency and this project is based upon their recommendations. This path is an important link in the whole footpath network which serves the Deadwater Valley Local Nature Reserve and is part of a long distance footpath, The Royal Woolmer Way, which links Liss (Hampshire) with Frensham (Surrey).
