Deadwater Valley Trust – Countryside Access

The Veolia Trust grant would part fund the construction, groundwork and installation of three green oak footbridges across tributaries of the River Deadwater. All bridges would be 132cm wide and 5060cm long, constucted offsite. Groundwork would begin at Deadwater Valley LNR, digging 2 trenches per bridge for concrete footings and metal plate fixings. Once set and tidy, installation of bridges can start. Bringing in the timber beams, and handrails and fixing into position. Once installed the bridge sites will be tidied after construction.
