Debenham Leisure & Community Centre Renewable Energy

The project will be to install an 8KW grid connected Photovoltaic panel array at the centre. Alongside this installation the project will implement a programme of energy efficiency improvements and renewable energy awareness raising and educational activities. The project will ensure community involvement in these activities. The aims are realise more sustainable energy supplies for the Centre to reduce energy usage at the Centre, to demonstrate renewable energy technology, to increase awareness of the benefits of energy efficiency and renewable energy technology application and to engage the local community of Debenham in a ‘personal approach’ to carbon reduction activities
