Denton West End Community Library/Hub – Replacement of Lighting Provision

Replacement of existing high level main lighting system in the community hub and associated ceiling tiles. Currently in place is a high level lighting system that is florescent old type strip lighting and suspended ceiling with tiles that are broken. The current fixtures are approx. 25 years old. The lighting fixtures will not be replaceable after September 2023 when the ban comes into place . They want to install new LED lighting system panels that would provide lower cost more energy efficient lighting and include a sensor light system – again to reduce energy consumption – and an option to choose appropriate lighting ‘temperature’ for zones in the community hub that would allow use of zones for different activities and expand service offer e.g. autism group , relaxation activities .
