Deri Community Centre

The ‘Deri Regeneration Group’ was formed in 1997 with the principal aim of ‘breathing new life’ into the area and more specifically to establish a Community Facility. The former ‘Briekite Concrete Yard’ has been an eyesore in the heart of the village and the land will be reclaimed for the benefit of the local people. Planning approval was obtained in 2003 and the new facility will comprise a large hall, 2 meeting rooms, office accommodation, kitchen facilities, toilet facilities including disabled toilets, storage rooms and a car parking area. The community centre will be fully compliant with buildings regulations and offer complete disabled access
