Desford - Play Areas Improvement

Improvements are to be provided in three phases. Phase 1: Provide new, challenging and stimulating play equipment at the Pickard Recreation Ground for children under 14 years of age. Phase 2: Enhance the Pickard Recreation Ground by creating a central community garden around the new play equipment for residents of all ages of the village to enjoy. Phase 3: Provide a skate board area, shelter, basketball net and goal posts at the existing Kirkby Road Recreation ground for older teenagers. (This phase will be done at a later date)
