Development Nunnery Lakes Nature Reserve

Improvement of the reserve in three ways – by extending areas of habitat to increase species richness (particularly birds); by focusing habitat improvement upon areas with easy public access and by creating a show-piece integrated bird population monitoring site, to demonstrate the value of environmental monitoring to BTO fieldworkers (volunteers) for the rest of the UK.
