Development of all-weather practice facility

The project we plan to undertake is to build a 2 pitch outdoor all weather cricket practice facilities with incorporated coaching bays, safety caging and fully enclosed netting, installed in accordance with the standards set out by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB). We will also erect a 2.4M sports fence in accordance with the ECB specification around the enclosure to ensure that we can use the facility at all times within a safe and controlled environment. These facilities will be used every day in the spring and summer months and weather dependent will also be accessible in autumn and winter. This facility will allow us to provide coaching to all our members as well as the wider community. They will help us to continue our quest to promote cricket and recreational activity in the community around the facility and also allow our schools to take advantage of high quality recreational facilities, supporting us in our goal of increased participation in sport across all ages.
