Development of an amenity area coupled with improved access facilities for toddlers, elderly and disabled persons

The project would develop a degraded area at the rear of the Wenvoe Village Hall into an amenity garden for use as a children’s playground and as a general recreational area for persons using the hall’s facilities. Most improvements would be achieved by voluntary effort in clearing, planting and minor landscaping works. Access, however, would require construction of ramps down from the hall’s exit doors in order to provide safe access to persons of all ages to the garden and adjacent grounds; these would be built to Part M standards of the Building Regulations covering access for disabled persons.
