Development of Facilities for the Church of St Mary the Virgin, Burrough on the Hill

The project will develop facilities within the small Grade 2* listed parish church in Burrough-on-the -Hill. Water sewage and gas connections will be brought to the church. A kitchen facililty will be installed at the southwest corner of the church. A Victorian vestry extension will be converted into a combined vestry, safe storage area and disabled toilet facilities. Space will be released at the rear of the church by the removal of pews and the installation of new furnishings. This will allow the church to be used as a community facility, which the village lacks. Existing church activities will benefit and new uses will be develop for the benefit of village residents and the general public.
