The project has three main aims: To prove the technology requried to separate and grade polypropylene from other hard plastic found in metal shredder residues. To research exisiting and potential markets for the separated grades of polypropylene. Provide the metal reprocessing industry with a researched alternative to landfill for the PP fraction of shredder residues.
