Development Tannery Gardens, Crayford, London Borough of Bexley

This is a project to turn a currently unkempt and unused piece of land into an attractive public garden that will be accessible to all members of the public and help to educate visitors about the area’s heritage. The areas current neglected condition makes a very bad impression at a key gateway to the town. The regeneration of Tannery Gardens will benefit the area by making an overgrown and unused piece of land into a vibrant and attractive open space. People will be able to enjoy views of the River Cray and learn how brick making was an important aspect of the town’s history.
