We wish to plant trees in an area of land owned by the city council in the centre of the village in order to enhance its amenity for recreational users and also to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee of Her Majesty the Queen. We have chosen apple trees because of their visual attractiveness through the seasons and the potential value to the community of the crop
