Didsbury Park, Manchester - New Wildflower Meadow Public Access

Friends of Didsbury Park have introduced a wildflower meadow at a disused bowling green in Didsbury Park, owned by Manchester City Council. To allow unrestricted and improved access, existing fencing and gates will be adjusted and replaced with low fencing, pedestrian gates and pathway improvements. Hardstanding will be added for benches. Trees and wildflower seeds will be planted to promote biodiversity. Works will provide a welcoming, natural space for community enjoyment and peaceful retreat away from the bustling high street.
