Dinton Pastures – New Bird Hide

Create a new bird hide for public viewing of the Lavells lake which would include views over several important wildlife habitats and associated wildlife . The Area is within the floodplain of the river Loddon so would be raised approx. 1m to ensure flooding did not occur and this would also offer better views over wader scrape, reedbed and meadow habitats .Information boards and interpretation of habitat management will also be installed for novice enthusiasts . A 10m ramp to the hide will ensure the hide is fully accessible and the design for viewing windows will also accommodate wheelchair users.
