Distington War Memorial Boundary

The aim of this project is to improve the boundary fence of the Distington War Memorial which has beebn in place for many years. The fence serves to prevent vandals from entering the gardens from the rear and also prevents unwanted pets from accessing the area and fouling in the gardens. The parish council feel that a dilapidated fence is an unwelcoming image to give to visitors and they wish to improve the boundary to make it more appealing. The lawn and planting areas are kept in excellent order by contractors working on behalf of the Parish Council and the group wish the boundary to be brought upto the same standard.
