Divis and Black Mountain All Ability Trail

The aim of the project is to manage and improve off road recreational access at Divis and Black Mountain. This will be achieved by the development of 3 looped trail systems. Phase 1 is a 1.3km off road trail, called the All Ability Trail, which will be suitable both for able bodied users and users with limited mobility. Other users such as families with pushchairs and also family/ leisure cyclists.
The trail has been sustainably designed by nationally recognised trail designers and will flow through the landscape and integrate with its surroundings, as well as requiring minimal maintenance and being able to withstand rigors of recreation in an upland environment.
