Dog Kennel Wood – Vital Access Improvements

This project seeks to improve access by replacing three bridges within 4.92ha at Dog Kennel Wood to ensure the well used routes within the wood remain open and accessible for their many users.

Trees and woods provide vital homes for wildlife and make a positive impact on the local environment as well as on local people’s quality of life by providing space for relaxation, exercise and being close to nature. In addition woods contribute to improving health, reducing air pollution and the trees storing carbon.
