The grant will be used to refurbish parts of the pavilion and changing accommodation to ensure it Is gender friendly and appropriate for use by young people. Built 22 years ago the configuration of the new changing rooms will include removing folding partitions and old storage cupboards, blocking up existing openings and enlarging door openings to facilitate disabled access. New internal walls and privacy screens, additional toilets in the changing rooms will be undertaken to Sport England and Football Foundation specifications. Floor repairs, new tiling and redecorations will complete the refurbishment along with sanitary ware and fixtures and fittings. Repairs to the roof structure and replacement of rainwater goods will ensure the pavilion is water tight. Minor external works, and electrical and mechanical services to suit the new layout will complete the works.
