Douglas Footpath Bridge and footpath improvement works

Build a new footpath across a flooded ha-ha that links the Thames National Trail (towpath) to Ham Avenues along the Douglas Footpath. The old bridge washed away in 2004 and the path that provides a link to the 4 schools, nursery, sea scouts to 6he Thames is now inaccessible. The bridge will also provie a link for pedestrians and cyclists between the Thames and Ricmond Park via Ham Avenues once complete. The new bridge will also enable people with disabilities to use the link. Improvements to the path will also take place to improve drainage and landsaping
