Downcraig Green Corridor

To extend the exisiting woodland to connect up various habitats with a wildlife corridor, increasing the value of the overall greenspace network, it will form a biodiversity landscape with a small scale woodland, native wildflower grass meadows, and walking routes. This area links the neighbouring housing to a main road and bus route. At present the site is poor in appearance, and has a low level of maintenance, due to poor ground conditions left by neighbouring developers. This project aims to implement where possible the Local Biodiversity Action Plan for Glasgow by creating habitats to attract wildlife and allow them to move around the area.
