Drumbowie Park Sensory Walkway

Drumbowie Environment Action Group owns and manages the Drumbowie Community Wood at Standburn for the benefit of local people and visitors. There is an existing circular path running through the woodland which is boggy in places and not accessible for people with limited mobility. The project is to upgrade the path extending to 1160m to a suitable standard for wheelchair users. In addition the project also involves the creation of four sensory areas along the pathway to be designed and built by local people with the help of expert advice
