Drumbowie Wildlife Hedge project

The group will replant hedge at the east entrance on the north side of the B825. The new planting would be from the entrance gate at the east end of Irene Terrace for approximately 100meteres stopping at the brow of the hill.
Removing existing boundary fence and old hedge using a JCB, leaving clean soil and a level surface for planting the new hedge. Large mature trees in boundary would be trimmed and left in the hedgerow.

Planting of the new hedgerow to advised standards (LBAP Officer).
A new boundary fence would be constructed on the inside line of the hedge. This will act as the boundary line until the hedge has time to grow.
