Drumsurn Community 4G Playground

The main objective of this project is to benefit the entire community, both young and old, and the wider population within a six/seven-mile radius. This would incorporate approximately five hundred people within the village itself and 3-4 thousand people in the surrounding area. • Improved infrastructure • Provision of better play space in our community • Better mental health and well-being • Reduced feelings of isolation and loneliness • Less money being spent travelling to towns for play provision • A better carbon footprint by using less fuel to travel • A sense of support & belonging in the community • New friendships across the community • Better family connections • Unite people of all faiths and none • More intergenerational projects. • More volunteering • A warm, safe and welcoming place to socialise and exercise • Sustainability and longevity of the project We will collaborate regularly with other groups in the area to ensure full access for all.
