Dukes versus Blues: A Conservation Challenge

The project aims to restore, enhance and monitor valuable chalk grassland habitat on three sites within 1/2 mile of each other (Totternhoe Quarry SSSI, Totternhoe Knolls SSSI & Sewell Cutting NR) through carefully targeted scrub removal, mixed controlled grazing and mowing, survey and monitoring. Many characteristic chalk grassland species listed in the BAP are present on the sites.
