Dumfries and Galloway Aviation Museum

The project aims to secure the fuure of the Aviation Museum by purchasing the unique 3 storey control tower and associated land in which it is located. In addition the project will develop and implement new on site interpretation to improve the amenity value of the museum. Established in 1977 the Aviation Museum is managed and staffed by volunteers. It attracts about 7,000 visitors charging an admission fee and any surplus is used to enhance the amenity.
