Dunbar Fishermans Monument Restoration

The project is to restore a Grade B listed building owned by the Dunbar Harbour Trust. The monument has been, in the past, painted with an acrylic masonary paint which has not allowed the sandstone to breathe. This paint needs to be removed to preserve the monument, consolidate the stonework, repair any pointing and apply a shelter coat of limewash. There is minor work also required to repair the wooden cabinet that contains a copy of the original Dunbar barometer.
