Duns Tew Play Area – Improvements

The Parish Council has a long-term lease for a community/play area. Currently only a small area is utilised as a toddler playground. They would like to develop the whole area to provide a community space for all ages to enjoy: a kids play area/sports field, tennis court and landscaped seating/BBQ area
They have already raised ~ £7,000 through projects within the village and the Parish Council and are looking for additional funding to provide:
– tennis court fence (court already exists)
– play equipment
– path/bike track
– landscaped seating and community area
They will provide a much-needed community hub, bringing together all ages, reducing travel to amenities further afield, increasing activity and reducing social isolation.Without this older children and elderly residents will have no provision and remain at risk of loneliness, boredom and obesity.
