Dunton Green Recreation Ground MUGA & Outside Space Upgrade

Dunton Green Parish Council is seeking to refurbish, resurface and upgrade existing outside tennis & basketball courts and convert one of them into a multi-use games area (MUGA)/ basketball court with youth shelter provision. The provision of these facilities is an integral part of a wider community project to provide new facilities to help integrate the existing community in Dunton Green with the new community who form part of the new development in the former West Kent Cold Store Site in Rye Lane Dunton Green which will provide 500 units of accommodation. The purpose is to provide free access to play, leisure and recreation facilities fitting the needs expressed by the local community. It is also intended that the improved facilities will serve both members of the new and existing community in Dunton Green through the provision of youth meeting shelters and free sport facilities provided as part of a new Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA).
