Dunwich Forest Landscape Project

To create 12.5ha of heathland, and restore 2.5ha of heathland, in four area of clear felled pine forest at Dunwich Forest.This is part of a wider partnership project to move towards a landscape scale approach to conservation in the area. Heathland will be restored/created through a three year programme of management works including bracken spraying, stump treatment and mechanical cutting. The work will benefit a variety of species and address national and regional targets for Lowland Heathland.
