Durham City Cricket Club

The club currently offers cricket opportunities for boys and girls from age six upwards. They currently run eight teams including four at junior level and a womens team.
This application is requesting funding to enable the group to purchase a cricket wicket roller. The roller will compliment the other items of maintainence equipment that the group has already purchased. The roller will enable the club to offer more use of its facilities and increase participation particularly amongst the juniors by ensuring more efficient preparation and an extension of both playing and practice facilities. The roller would also lead to an improvement in the quality of the playing surface and be an asset to assist with the clubs future sustainability.
