Durham Coast Meadow Restoration

This project is to restore, safeguard and enhance 9ha of meadow habitat along a stretch of Durham coastline between Hawthorn Dene and Cotsford Field. The meadow land is an extremely rare maritime magnesium limestone habitat. Improvements will enable cattle grazing of the site.
