Dyffryn Woods provides significant and vitally important habitats for wildlife, as well as a much-valued ‘green-lung’ and open space for people. Commanding a superb position Dyffryn Woods is an invaluable 116 hectare (228 acre) ancient semi-natural woodland (ASNW) and Planted Ancient Woodland Site (PAWS). This projects aims to improve access, interpretation, visitor views and habitat enhancements at Dyffryn Woods for the benefit of its many users and to encourage new and more regular visits by those in the local community.
