Dyslexia Association, Staffordshire – Accessible Toilet (40055/D)

The existing ground floor storage area will be divided by a stud wall to form a new room. A new disabled access door will be created at the end of an existing corridor to access the area. The room will be plastered, new flooring installed. Plumbing work will be carried out to install disabled toilet facilities and associated grab rails. Electricity supply installed and emergency alarm, heating, lighting and extract will be fitted to the new disabled toilet facilities. There will be a greater access to our current activities to those who have been excluded due to mobility issues. It will allow a wider range of activities to take place in particular those aimed at the older age group.
The Trust grant will contribute towards the accessible toilet.

This project is proportionally approved for up to 56% of the total project cost, that being the proportion of the facility open to the general public.
