Earswick Village Pond

The village pond is heavily silted and a virtual morass, resulting in flora and wildlife suffering, the latter of which have left the habiltat in large numbers. The project aims to re-develop the pond and surrounding environs to encourage diverse wildlife, visitors young and old, environmental groups and also to stimulate education projects. Local children will be encouraged to learn, appreciate and care for the environment.
