East Donyland Community Association, Rowhedge Village Hall

To refurbish interior of Village Hall including a new hall floor and floor coverings in toilets, hall and foyer.
The building, which is owned by East Donyland Parish Council, is run by a non-profit making charity – East Donyland Communit Association. The hall, built in the mid-eighties, consists of a large hall, small hall, meeting room, two kitchens, toilets and changing rooms.
This final stage is to:
a. provide new non-slip floor covering in the toilets to meet with current safety standards
b. to reconstruct the semi-floating floor in the large hall and apply new vinyl floor covering suitable for sports and general purpose use
c. to provide a similar floor covering in the foyer.

The largest part of the project is in the large hall. The floor consists of a flooring grade chipboard deck floating on special eps insulation slabs that contain heating pipes. The project intends to replace the floor with an improved specification and to service the heating system at the same time.
