East Midland Conservation Programme – Moss Valley SSSI

BTCV East Midlands intends to run a programme of practical conservation events at important wildlife sites across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. The work at Moss Valley SSSI will take place over 2 days and be undertaken by BCTV volunteers who will contribute an estimated 16 workdays.
This project will focus on grassland improvements through cutting and raking to favour native species, and the control of encroaching woodland to safeguard the grassland for public enjoyment / access and biodiversity value
