East Midlands Conservation Programme – Beeston Sidings LNR

BTCV East Midlands intends to run a programme of practical conservation events at important wildlife sites across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. The work at Beeston Sidings LNR will take place over 4 days and be undertaken by BTCV volunteers who will contribute an estimated 30+ workdays.
The work will include grassland management linked to slow-worm populations and general access improvements and bring benefits for both biodiversity and public enjoyment of the site. Beeston Sidings is located in one of Nottinghamshire’s most disadvantaged wards.
